Living only a few blocks away from the WTC, Rollins saw it all happen.
Some footage exists of policemen evacuating the grand old man, who secured only one item of his possessions -
…well, his sax, of course…. .
Days later, still half in shock, he performed in Boston on September 15. That show was recorded on this album.
As the booklet says, the ambiance during that concert was one of generosity and comfort.
