The Slits - Return of the Giant Slits

2007 two CD edition of the UK Post-Punk trio’s second and final album featuring a bonus disc that contains all of the archived dub versions and an American radio interview that was used by CBS for an ultra rare promo-only release. Originally released in 1981, this reissue features new graphic artwork and two of the classic photos by Anton Corbijn from the NME magazine cover session. This record has often been overshadowed by the more controversial 1979 Cut album. It represents their natural development as artistes by focusing more on their interests in dub and world music that was well suited to their, by then, more accomplished playing style.
